Social Media is a platform that allows us all to become broadcasters, to make videos, tell stories and share experiences. It is such an accessible medium with so much variety and opportunity. With a simple approach, an understanding of your tools, platform and audience. Plus a handful of tricks, you can create fun, informative and engaging content to promote yourself or your business.
Join Dillon Osborne for a special workshop dedicated to creating awesome video content for social media. Bring your camera or phone, which ever you prefer, a willingness to learn and an open mind and delve into the world of video.
I’m a 33 year old Full Time Freelance Photographer, Videographer & Graphic Designer based just outside Belfast in Northern Ireland. I ride bikes, surf, drink beer, love to explore, to talk, to take photos and share my thoughts. I like to explore things through photography & film. I have worked with a wide array of local and international companies creating everything from Instagram stories to event videos, digital commercials and music videos.
I tell stories. I share experiences. I teach, I inform and I explore. I do this in the most fun, engaging and creative way I can, utilising my professional experience as a Photographer, Designer and Film Maker to produce high quality content. I challenge myself on social media in a truly creative way to share my life, my success, my failures and anything that aligns with my values. I use Instagram, Youtube supported by Twitter, LinkedIn & Facebook to express myself visually through photography, video and spoken word. I upload photos regularity covering an array of photographic styles. I daily vlog using Insta Stories giving a taste of my life, making small films, giving tutorials on photography and generally trying to create a small video every day to inspire and entertain my viewers. I have built up an honest, hyper local and heavily engaged audience by being authentic real.
